Finding The Best Conservative Talk Radio Show

By Richard Johnson

Most people have heard of programs like this because there are so many of them out there. It is easy to ascertain what a person's political views or even moral beliefs are if they choose to blast shows like this on their stereo day in and day out. There can be pros and cons to listening to a conservative talk radio show, and it's good to keep both in mind.

As long as the listener fully knows and understands that the hosts of these shows are mainly just spouting off their opinions, there isn't much danger of being brainwashed or anything like that. While it can be entertaining, some people unfortunately listen to this sort of thing and treat it like cold hard fact. The best thing for a person to do is listen to both sides and see how they feel then.

There are many different shows that one could consider in the category of programming focused on conservatism. This is because traditional values are held in several different smaller philosophical categories. Libertarians often have programming that is compatible for most conservatives.

It is amazing to think about how much publicly broadcasted programming has changed over the years. In 1949, the Federal Communications Commission introduced something called the fairness doctrine, which allowed the FCC to decide what was unbiased and what wasn't, and anyone with a broadcast license had to follow their rules. While this might seem like a good thing to keep news sources unbiased, it actually did more to hinder the truth than protect it, and was removed in 1987.

Since the FCC could take action against stations that didn't comply with the rules of the Fairness Doctrine, stations would rarely hire any host who might say something controversial or outspoken. That's why shows like this didn't have the dominance they do now. These new programs have no one to worry about getting in trouble with.

Podcasts are a great way to enjoy this type of programming. This enables this listener to take the program wherever they want. It also allows them to fast forward and rewind, and they never have to worry about missing a show because it is always waiting in their playlist whenever they're ready for it.

There are many things that have led to the rise of nationalism in the US. A major event was the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Many people decided they would do their part by rallying around their government and everything that they believe it stands for.

The controversies that have surrounded many of the hosts of these types of shows have largely been driven by beliefs that are at the heart of their political point of view. This is what drove many of these individuals to make misogynistic, racist, or xenophobic remarks that have ultimately gotten them into trouble. Hosts of these programs have lost sponsorship and viewership for saying things that many people fundamentally disagree with.
